Quick Example Workflows: recording and wireless streaming

The Explore system can be used in three ways:

Offline Recording

Simply switch on the amplifier to start recording data automatically to its internal memory. This makes it ideal for mobile experiments or long recordings without a connected computer. The amplifier records data continuously, regardless of whether it is connected to any software or external device.

Online Wireless Streaming

Turn on the amplifier, wait for the blue blinking LED, and connect via Bluetooth to your computer or smartphone. Use Explore Desktop or the Explore Mobile App to view signals, check impedance, and record data in real time.

Online Wired Streaming

Connect the USB-C isolator (UI) to the amplifier. Turn on the amplifier, wait for the blue blinking LED, and connect via a USB-C cable to your computer. Use Explore Desktop to view signals, check impedance, and record data in real time.

  • 👉 Detailed instructions for both workflows are provided later in this guide.
